Register and Pay Dues
The 2023 Season
To participate in Wasabi Club activities, members must update their registration information annually. This includes payment of dues and the acknowledgement of our Club Code of Conduct and the Club Waiver, Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability Agreement.
- Auto-deduct payments occur on the 1st of each month. Members are responsible for all online service fees.
- Dues are non-refundable, except for medical condition and as outlined in the Club Policy and Procedures.
- Members who have unpaid dues will not be listed on TeamSNAP rosters and are ineligible to participate in team and Club activities.
- New members are assessed a $30 one-time club join fee which is added to your registration. If they apply, prorated dues are automatically calculated on new member registrations.
- Dues waivers or reduction are available for all members. Contact the Club Secretary to make a request to the Club Board of Directors.

Consider a donation to our future home!
In the ongoing effort to locate and fund our space , we have strategically placed funds in an earmarked account to secure our future.
Members making $100 minimum contributions will be automatically added to the drawing for a full 2024 paid membership!
The winner will be selected at the Board of Director 2nd quarter meeting in late May, early June.
* Wasabi recommends you contact your Tax Consultant on if a donation to the annual drawing qualifies as a tax deduction.

$275 as a single payment
- Dues paid online or by a check payment
$30 new Member join fee applies to new registrants
$300 made as equal monthly installment payments
- Dues paid as monthly installments based upon $300 divide by the number of months remaining in the calendar year
- Credit/debit card required for auto-deduct payment on the 1st of each month

Specialty Team Registration Options:
Kraken (under age 23), Special Dragons, TideRunners and VIP **

* VIP pre-approved $25 minimum payment
All team Kraken youth receive Board approved waiver of membership dues for the 2023 calendar year *
- For adults no longer paddling on team Kraken, and under the age of 23 at the time of registration, dues are $100 for the calendar year.
No New Member join fee for life; once a Wasabi member, always a Wasabi member
* Members are responsible for fees associated with races
$25 annual dues
- Members typically paddle for the Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race
No New Member join fee for life; once a Wasabi member, always a Wasabi member
$200 annual dues made as a single payment or $225 made as equal monthly installment payments - Dues prorated for NEW members
- Paddlers who wish to participate with the Portland teams/crews must register with a Full Club access option
- Due to the weather at the Coast, the season typically starts around March and continues through September
$30 new Member join fee applies to new registrants - annual dues are prorated based upon join month for new members
$25 minimum annual dues
- Member must qualify for VIP scholarship
- Minimum payment must be approved by team Coach
- Paddlers who do not qualify for VIP minimum payment ($25) must choose a Full Club membership option

Other Registration Options:
Associate Membership, $50 Monthly Dues Option, and Waived / Reduced Dues Membership
$40 annual dues
- Dues paid up-front online or via check
- Dragon boat steers and callers only
- OC steers must register under one of the Full Club access options
- Member name will appear on the 'non-paddling' portion of the TeamSNAP roster
$30 new Member join fee applies to new registrants
$50 per month
- Alternative choice to the Standard Registration or TideRunner membership options. Intended for the paddler who participates only a few months of the calendar year
- Member may discontinue payments if they are not participating. In doing so they will also be removed from all TeamSNAP rosters
- Credit/debit card must be on file for monthly $50 auto-deduct payments. No refunds.
- Auto-deduct payments occur on the 1st of each month

Membership fee waived or reduced
- Intended for Coaches, Club Officers and other persons with a Board of Director pre-approved waiver or reduction of annual dues

Visa/MasterCard payments carry a 2.99% + $0.99 service fee, Charge-back amount fees are $15.00. These fees will be reflected on EACH payment
